Valentine’s Day is almost here — the ultimate night to celebrate being single… and maybe not leaving single after the night is done... 💕
February is pure magic, Cupid is calling, and we’re hosting a Winter Wonderland Singles Party at one of Helsinki’s most iconic waterfront venues: Kork Bar & Velvet Bar @kork.bar @velvet.bar in Katajanokka — Saturday 14th February ✨
This is the home of some of our most unforgettable events (including our launch party and Halloween), and once again we’re taking over both adjacent cocktail bars, bringing together 150+ singles for a night full of chemistry — whether that’s sparks, friendship, or romantic vibes 💫
What’s the vibe?
A stylish, singles-only night for ages 27+, with two bar areas, an undercover terrace to move freely between spaces, epic drink specials, optional icebreakers, and an easygoing atmosphere where everyone is open to a chat. We will also have a DJ at Velvet Bar from 21:00 onwards 🎶
The venue is located at Kanavaranta 3 c 9, 00160 Helsinki. Entry to ticket holders only. Get them quick before they sell out, our first year of events has had crazy demand and most of our 120+ host cities have been incredibly popular!

To start the night with extra magic, we’re offering a limited AI Mystery Matching experience for up to 100 guests.
- Entry for Mystery Matching guests opens at 18:00 - Matching concludes by 19:30 - Regular ticket entry begins at 19:30

💡 HOW THE MYSTERY MATCHING WORKS
We will have maximum 100 tickets for people wishing to participate in Mystery Matching. Arrival time for these is at 18:00. For everyone else, doors open at 19:30.
Matching will be powered by Matchbox. It’s a software that uses relationship science to find you your most compatible match at the party. The algorithm has matched more than half a million people to date, across 40 countries. It optimizes for long-term compatibility, based on values—but it’s up to you to see if you’ll click.

Upon arrival, you’ll take a matching questionnaire built by Matchbox’s team of relationship scientists and curated by your host.
The Matchbox algorithm will identify your optimal match at the party, based on relationship science, AI, and Nobel Prize-winning economics. Matches will also take age into consideration.
After mingling with the whole group, a clue is given before matches are revealed!

What to expect:
The matching process is highly intentional—come with an open mind.
If your match isn’t love at first sight, that’s okay! The algorithm is designed for long-term compatibility, so at baseline, you’ll be values-aligned.
At the end of the day, this will be a great group of single people. Enjoy meeting everyone, and remember to be kind.
Event Structure:
This event is highly intentional and the matching will proceed on schedule. Please be on time.
18:00—the event begins on time, bar opens
18:45—last entry time for Mystery Matching guests.
19.00—first clue is revealed, The Algorithm begins computing matches
19:10—matches revealed
19:30 – entry time for regular tickets, regular mingling and activities continue, (or keep talking to your match 😉)
20:30 - second icebreaker activity (open to all guests)
21:00 – DJ starts playing, dance floor is open in Velvet bar, mingling continues
01:00 – event concludes
