Valentine's Day at Life With Pigs Farm Sanctuary

Enjoy a guided sanctuary tour at your selected time, meet our rescued animal family members, and hear the rescue stories that make this place so special. Sip a festive non-alcoholic bubbly and enjoy sweet treats while you wait!

Each couple/family will create a sentimental Valentine’s keepsake craft to take home, and each guest will receive a mystery Valentine from a rescued animal, complete with a QR code linking to a special video message - a truly unique surprise.

This event is perfect for people who love animals and want to celebrate love in a way that gives back. All proceeds go towards the rescued animals of Life With Pigs.

Life With Pigs is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that gives forever homes to farmed animals in need and compassion-filled educational experiences to the public. It is run entirely on public donations.

To protect our vulnerable bird family members, we are taking extra precautions due to the ongoing risk of avian influenza.

If you currently care for backyard birds (including chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese, peafowl, or similar), we kindly ask that you refrain from attending this event at this time.

Additionally, within the 48 hours prior to your visit, please avoid visiting parks, beaches, farms, tourist attractions, or other areas where wild birds commonly gather.

We know these precautions may be inconvenient, and we deeply appreciate your understanding and care. Thank you for helping us keep our bird family members safe and healthy.

Waiver Requirement
All adult guests must complete a waiver before attending. We strongly encourage completing it online in advance to make check-in quick and easy.

What to Wear & Bring

This is an outdoor sanctuary experience. Please dress for the weather and wear closed-toe shoes suitable for walking on dirt, which may be uneven or muddy. Pants are recommended and may leave with snout marks on them.

Out of respect for our animal family members, we ask that guests do not bring animal products (including snacks or drinks with meat, dairy, or eggs) onto the property. Thank you for helping us keep this a safe and compassionate space for everyone.

🦃 Turkey Quirks

While red is usually the color of love, Sherman the turkey strongly disagrees. He hates the color red and may attempt to “defend his honor” if he sees it.

We understand this is an unusual request for a Valentine’s Day event, but please skip red clothing and accessories if you can. Pink is usually just fine.

If anyone forgets, no worries - we’ll just ask you to stand a little farther back from Sherman’s area during the tour to protect his delicate sensibilities. Thank you for understanding!
