Do you want to learn how to decorate sugar cookies? Twice as Nice Cookies and Treats is here to help you learn. In this 90 minute class, you will learn the basics of sugar cookie decorating and will decorate 4 cookies. We'll teach you tips and tricks for mastering royal icing and send you home with our sugar cookie and royal icing recipes.

About Sugar Cookie Classes!

Who doesn’t love going out and doing something fun while also eating delicious cookies!? That's what this class is all about!

Our classes are based in Marana, Arizona, and cater to the beginner cookier. Whether you want a fun date, an activity with friends, or just want to explore what cookie decorating is all about- we have a seat for you.

For our classes, all you will need to bring is yourself (and an apron if you would like), and we take care of the rest. You will get a set of pre-baked cookies (pretty tasty if I do say so myself) as well as all the supplies you will need to decorate them.

Our classes are 90 minutes, which gives us enough time to decorate the cookies and answer any questions along the way. You will leave the class with your very own box of newly decorated cookies!

We have classes throughout the year which highlight different themes, so make sure to checkout our website regularly!

What will I be doing in this in-person class?

Besides having fun? We will go over some cookie facts, decorating techniques, and you will be decorating your very own set of cookies that you will take home with you that day.

What will we learn in class?

You’ll learn what goes into preparing royal icing, the value of different icing consistencies, how to color icing, and tricks to fill piping bags. You’ll also learn different decorating techniques, such as marbling, outlining, wet-on-wet, brush embroidery, and painting. (Techniques will vary depending on the class being taught.)

Do I need to know how to bake?

Nope! We will have the cookies pre-made for you and will give you the recipe in an email after class so you can create bake your own at home!

What do I need to bring?

Nothing! Everything will be provided for you including our rather tasty sugar cookies. All you need to do is join us and have fun! Messy decorator? You can bring your own apron or just wear easy-to-wash clothing.

What age is best for cookie classes?

Our classes are for almost any age! From youngsters to grandparents- come on in and have some cookie fun with us! Our classes are great for any age; however, kiddos under 12 will need a parent taking the class as well.

Can I purchase just one ticket and share a set of cookies with my child or friend?

Because we have limited seating, each attendee must purchase a ticket. Thus, you would need to purchase two tickets - one for you and one for your child/friend.

What will I bring home?

By the end of the class, you will have created a set of gorgeous cookies ready to dry for 12-24 hours in their own box. And of course, you’ll have new skills, memories, and fun!

Can I sign up as an individual or as a group?

You can sign up either as an individual, with a friend, or with a whole group. The more the merrier! We are limited to a total of 10 seats per class, so definitely sign-up ASAP!

I signed up for a class but can't make it?

We understand that life happens so that’s why we allow you to cancel up to 7 days before the class. You can always transfer your spot to a friend though (what a nice friend you are). Read below for our General Cancellation Policies.

Is there a minimum number of seats that must be filled for the class to go forward?

Yes, there is! At least five people must sign-up for the class. But rest assured that if the class minimum is not met and the class is cancelled, you will be issued a refund. I would rather be baking than issuing refunds, so bring along your friends, family, and kiddos for a sweet time!

General Cancellation Policy

If you're sick - here's our cancellation policy. Note - if you don't cancel before 7 days, you qualify for a class credit. If you don't email before class starts to let us know you can't make it, we are unable to process a credit - so ensure you've email ahead of class start time!

Eventbrite Fees: Your ticket price includes your Eventbrite fees; however, Eventbrite does not refund its fees if you need to cancel. If you cancel your ticket for a refund, we'll give you a refund minus those Eventbrite fees - since we don't get this back either. Eventbrite keeps it regardless of whether you show up or cancel.

If you need to cancel 7+ days before class:

If you can't make it because plans changed or if you’re sick prior to the 7-day refund cutoff, you can cancel for a full refund! And might we say thank you for sittin' this one out. To request a refund through Eventbrite, follow these steps. You can also email us at [email protected].

If you need to cancel 6 days before class starts:

No worries - life happens - you will be rolled into a future class! Email us at [email protected] and we'll roll you into a future class in early 2025. That will also apply to a Decorate It Yourself (DIY) Kit if you purchased one as well.

You can't make it the day of class, and you have emailed before class starts:

Car troubles? Unforeseen Emergency? Email us before your class start time. While we can't offer a refund or roll you into a future class, we can box up your class supplies and schedule a time for you to pick-up the box to decorate at home. Note - we can't guarantee freshness for unsealed class cookies.

You don't show up or email prior to class:

If you don't email before class, and you do not show up for class, we won’t be able to offer you a refund, roll you into a future class, or offer pick-up. 😞 So please reach out to us before your class starts!

You purchased BOTH a Class Take-Home Kit and a Class Ticket and need to cancel:

If you purchased both a class ticket and a take-home kit and emailed prior to the 7-day refund policy, we'll be happy to offer you either a full refund or roll you into a future class in early 2025 and issue you a refund for your DIY kit. If it's after the 7-day cut-off, we can roll your ticket and DIY kit to a future class in early 2025. Once class starts, we can no longer roll you over to a future class or refund for your tickets and DIY kit - but you CAN send a family member to pick them up for you! They'll need to pick them up before class ends, otherwise the left-over product will be donated.

Order your sugar cookie class kit and take the class home with you to teach a child or friend! Our class kits come with everything you'll use in class, and we'll email you the class insturctions so you can follow our step-by-step instructions from home! Our DIY Kits are assembled for you before your class starts, and you'll take them with you after class.

Each Cookie Class DIY Kit includes:

How long can a kit last? Depending on how you store your icing, your kits can last for a week or longer. Freezing cookies keep them fresh for a long time, but we recommend using your kit as soon as possible - ideally in the first week after you've taken it home.
