Reno Public Market is partnering up with a community service project led by Sparks City Councilman Donald Abbott working with elementary school children, organizations, businesses and individuals to deliver Valentine’s Day cards to seniors. The community drive serves as a way to brighten the days of homebound seniors and elderly people living in assisted living facilities.
Reno Public Market’s “Doodle Your Soul,” which frequently provides arts and crafts for children will devote its session on Saturday, January 31 from 12 to 3pm to this Valentine’s Day for Seniors project. All of the supplies needed will be available for kids to make Valentine's Cards for Seniors at this session.
Adult supervision is required for the duration of the class.
