An alternative Valentine's night for couples, singles and friends, where award-winning storyteller Jason Buck presents dark tales of romance, love and sensuality. Hosted by Bunker178 in the atmospheric Planet Sounds, beneath central bridge in Southampton. There will be a sober bar selling alcohol free drinks, coffees, teas, vegan cake and snacks.
Stories include...
- 'Ink', where a wish for fame brings more than is expected, and the devilish young woman in the tattoo parlour is definitely everything she seems; but everything comes at a price
- In 'The Succubus’ Wine Cellar', when things appear to be too good to be true ... they usually are (back by popular demand)
- 'Bluebeard' is the traditional fairytale (with all the juicy bits left in) of a murderous husband, and the inspiration for Angela Carter's 'The Bloody Chamber'
- 'The portrait' is Jason's new story of magick, and one despotic cult leader's desire for the perfect woman
