(In English below)Tampereen elokuvajuhlilla päästään jälleen nauttimaan historiallisen Tampereen tuomiokirkon tunnelmasta Tampereen ev. lut. seurakuntaryhmien kanssa yhteistyössä järjestetyssä näytöksessä. Tänä vuonna näytökseen kuuluu Teuvo Puron ohjaama Vaihdokas (1927), jonka säestää livenä Tampereen tuomiokirkon urkuri Esa Toivola.
Selma Anttilan samannimiseen näytelmään perustuva elokuva on vahvasti yhteiskunnallinen perhedraama, joka sivuaa eriarvoisuuden, nuorten pahoinvoinnin ja naisten oikeuksien teemoja. Yli sata vuotta sitten kirjoitetun näytelmän ansiokkaasti tehdyssä elokuvatulkinnassa peilataan nykypäivänäkin oleellisia aiheita.
Yli 7-vuotialle soveltuva elokuva on tekstitetty suomeksi, englanniksi ja ruotsiksi. Näytökseen on vapaa pääsy.

Festival-goers can once again enjoy the historic atmosphere at Tampere Cathedral with a screening organised in collaboration with the Federation of Tampere Ev. Lut. Parishes. This year the film screened will be Teuvo Puro's The Changeling (1927) with live organ accompaniment by Esa Toivola.
Based on Selma Anttila's play by the same title, The Changeling is a family drama with strong societal themes. The story touches on themes of inequality, distress among the youth, and women's rights. This masterful film adaption of a text written over a hundred years ago is an insightful mirror into issues still affecting us today.
The screening is suited for children over seven. The film is subtitled in Finnish, English and Swedish and is free to attend.
