We will meet at Bar C Ranch Thur AM and Travel to:7169 Cedar Grove Road Farm, Mochipongo, VA 23405
You can ride with us or follow in a passenger car.
You will be staying in our Non-Smoking LQ Camper with 2 to 3 other riders. We offer a Kind size bed (shared) or a full-size couch.
What to expect:
This is PRIMATIVE camping - meaning no running water no electricity. We will have limited water for showers and run the AC on a generator.
You are expected to take care of general care of your leased horse, which will include, feeding, haying, cleaning manure, grooming and tacking. All feed, hay, grooming supplies and tack is provided for leased animals. You can provide carrots as a treat if you like.
Upon booking a full list of items you need to provide for yourself will be sent (ex, linen, towels, boots, type of clothes and toiletries).
Thur - travel 6 hrs from NC to VA Island. Min of 1 stop along the way. If you ride with us, we are a NON-Smoking vehicle. Upon arrival we will secure our site and plan an evening ride of 4.5 miles in the woods.
Fri - Ride of 9 miles in woods/ bay.
Sat - Ride to the beach 16 miles
Sun - Group decision of riding, if so we may return Monday vs returning Sunday night) Ride to beach available of 14 miles.
if we don't ride Sunday, we will break camp and travel 6 hrs back home. If we ride Sunday, we will travel back Monday.
Each day breakfast will be provided (bread, meat, eggs, grits, Keurig for beverage).
Lunch will provided lunch meat(turkey)/ bread, except Saturday, lunch will be provided on the trail.
Dinner will be provided each night.
Bottled drinking water will be provided. We may travel to near by restaurant for dinner one night, at rider's expense (for their own meal)
Ride Cost is $1050 per rider.
Payments in full is accepted - below is payment schedule is needed.
$150 Deposit is due at booking.
Ride is rain or shine and is non-refundable and date is non-transferable.
$200 is due by Aug 20.
$350 is due by Sept 20.
$350 is due no later than Oct 1.
