Uyghur Genocide: Defending Rights, Identity, and Culture

Come join us at the Dirksen Senate Office Building for an important event focusing on the Uyghur Genocide. The event will address the Uyghur genocide, transnational repression, and cultural destruction carried out by the Chinese Communist Party. Additionally, it will feature an Uyghur Visual Art Exhibition, showcasing the vibrant culture, rich heritage, and breathtaking landscapes of the Uyghur homeland. The exhibition opens at 2:00 PM, followed by the opening ceremony at 4:00 PM.

The event is hosted by the Uyghur Academy, in partnership with the World Uyghur Congress, Campaign for Uyghurs, Center for Uyghur Studies, and Uyghur American Association.
