Course description:
Crash course in frame making just in time for the holidays! Art always makes the best presents for the holidays. The only problem is it can cost upwards of $200 for the recipient to put a nice frame around it. Instead of buying a frame why not learn how to make one?
In this workshop you will receive a high-quality solid hardwood frame handmade by the instructor of the class William Demaria. This workshop will teach you every step in the process of frame making after woodworking. Lessons learned in this class can be applied to any frame and applying the lessons taught in the workshop is a great way for artists to get gallery ready frames at affordable prices.
Learn how to frame your artwork in a professional manner for the cost of handmade a frame!
Please note: Students will be expected to bring their own artwork to frame. Artwork must be under 20” x 26”. The price of the class reflects the cost of artwork framed with UV protective glass. The maximum dimension frame that glass is practical is 24” x 30”.
