UWSP CBEI Fall 2026 Presentation
About this Event
Join the Center for Business and Economic Insight for the Central Wisconsin Fall 2026 Report featuring Sentry School of Business and Economics faculty Scott Wallace and Kevin Bahr, along with a special presentation: Federal Decisions-Local Impacts: Butterfly Effect or Chaos Theory? by Meleesa Johnson, executive director of Wisconsin’s Green Fire.
The event is on campus in the Dreyfus University Center Alumni Room on Friday, Dec. 11 from 7-9 a.m., starting with networking and continental breakfast.
About the Presentation
Understanding how federal legislative, regulatory and judicial decisions affect local environmental and natural resource conservation efforts can be challenging. Even experienced professionals may find it difficult to trace the connections between federal actions and their local consequences. This presentation provides a fundamental look at several such recent developments, clarifying those connections and illustrating their current or potential implications for the Central Wisconsin region.
