Utility-Scale Battery Energy Storage_Gary Camplejohn (CTO, Harmony Energy)

We are pleased to welcome Gary Camplejohn, Chief Technical Officer at Harmony Energy, for a guest lecture sharing practical insights into the UK’s energy transition, covering topics such as energy storage, grid stability, and low-carbon power systems.

Prior to joining Harmony Energy, Gary worked as a Commercial Engineer at Northern Powergrid, collaborating with developers on new grid connections across Yorkshire and the North East of England. Earlier in his career, he specialised in military avionics systems, working in locations around the world before transitioning into the energy sector.

As the UK and global energy systems continue to shift towards low-carbon and renewable technologies, this session offers a valuable opportunity to gain first-hand industry perspectives from a senior leader actively shaping the energy transition.
