The Frontiers of Flight Museum is one of North Texas' premier aviation museums and a proud Smithsonian Affiliate. Located next to Dallas Love Field Airport, the museum tells the story of flight—from the earliest flying machines to modern aircraft and space exploration. The museum features more than 30 aircraft and spacecraft, including historic military planes, commercial aircraft, the Apollo 7 Command Module, exhibits on the Wright Brothers, Dallas aviation history, and much more.
✈️ Highlights include:
• Historic aircraft from different eras of aviation
• Space exploration exhibits and artifacts
• Interactive displays and aviation technology
• The story of Dallas-Fort Worth's important role in aviation history
• Rare artifacts from famous aircraft and airships
• Opportunities to get up close to airplanes you normally only see from a distance
We'll spend the afternoon exploring the museum, hanging out with friends, and enjoying time together. Afterward, we'll likely grab dinner or a snack together depending how long we stay before returning to UTA around 6:00–7:00 PM.
Whether you love airplanes, engineering, history, space exploration, or simply spending time with friends, this should be a great afternoon!
Bring a friend and come join us!
Looking forward to seeing you all!
