Uwharrie Trail, South Bound, Spring Thru Hike. 4 days, 40 miles. We start at Tot Hill Trailhead. Head south to Walkers Creek. Day 2 we’re off to Jumping Off Rock. Day 3 we end the day at Crystals Place. And Sunday we finish up at 24/27 trailhead.
VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION.
This hike is unsupported. Hike at your own risk. No sweepers, No check in or sign in. No porta potty’s. No slack packing available. Be able to filter water. Have navigation apps/maps. If you are inexperienced, please reach out and tag along with some of us who are more familiar with the trail.
Will there be trail angels? Most likely, maybe some hamburgers/ hotdogs a night or two. Other volunteers have shown interest in contributing, who knows! Still plan on packing or caching 4 days of food.
