The primary focus of Reiki 1 is Self-Care and Personal Practice. Are you ready to change your life and enhance your ability to heal and evolve?
Reiki is a spiritual practice that helps return the body to a state of deep relaxation, thereby activating the body’s own natural abilities to heal. The word Reiki consists of two Japanese words: Rei (spiritually guided) and ki (vital force or energy). Therefore Reiki translates as Spiritually Guided Life Force Energy. Reiki facilitates physical and mental healing by restoring the body to balance. Reiki also balances emotions and energies, which allows for growth in personal and spiritual journeys.
The original Usui Reiki Ryoho is a life changing study brought into practice by Mikao Usui in 1915. Today, Reiki is practiced in hospitals throughout the US. Reiki is also practiced by everyday people who are ready to bring this healing energy to their personal spiritual practice.
Through 13 years of practice and studying 3 lineages of Reiki, this course was designed to align with the Japanese teachings of Usui Reiki Ryoho, with inclusions of some Western teachings which help to meet us where we are at in our lives.
In class you will become certified as a Level 1 Reiki Practitioner and receive a manual to learn:
-What is Reiki,
-History of Reiki,
-The Reiki Precepts (chanting in Japanese),
-Daily Self-Care Treatment,
-Spiritual Centering Practice, and more.
You will also receive 4 Attunements (reiju) to reiki.
You will learn how to use Reiki for the primary purposes of finding peace and balance within your body and mind. You will also learn how to incorporate Reiki into your life in a practical way.
It is suggested (but not required) that you receive a Reiki session prior to study.
