About this Event
The ability to support our healing is within all of us. Since ancient times people have worked with universal life force energy to help heal, using different names and under different traditions. In Japan, people referred to this energy as Reiki – “Universal (Rei) Life Force Energy (Ki)” or “Guided Life Force Energy.”
In 1922, Dr. Mikao Usui spontaneously received Reiki and, recognizing the quality of its ability to heal, sought to share Reiki. Dr. Usui developed the Usui System of Reiki Natural Healing, a foundation for many Reiki systems practiced today. Reiki is a gentle, but powerful energy healing technique that helps us tap into the universal life force energy to support the body’s natural ability to heal. After being attuned, a Reiki practitioner accesses the universal life force energy, drawing it through their hands and applying the hands to themselves or others to help restore balance in mind, body and spirit.
The benefits of Reiki are numerous; so much so that the recognition of its ability to support healing has grown beyond those who are energy healers or alternative medicine practitioners. Reiki has been clinically studied, and the medical community is taking notice of its benefits, leading to an increasing number of Reiki practitioners involved in medical settings, including hospitals. Reiki can help decrease stress, improve sleep, reduce pain, increase emotional balance and mental clarity, and improve potential outcomes of cancer therapy, among other benefits.

In this Usui Reiki Level I training, you will:
- Learn Reiki history and principles
- Learn hand positions for healing yourself and others, with a strong emphasis on self-healing
- Receive Reiki Level I attunement to the flow of Reiki energy
- Practice self-healing

- Learn techniques for integrating Reiki into daily life and spiritual practice

About Your Instructor
Krystal Jordan is a Shaman and Energy Healer, and the founder of Krystal Healing Arts. Her path with Reiki began in 2007, and she has spent nearly two decades exploring and practicing energy healing as a pathway to greater balance, healing, personal growth, and transformation.
Krystal is an Usui Reiki Master/Teacher as well as a Karuna Reiki®, Sekhem-Seichim Reiki, and Lightarian™ Reiki Master/Teacher. She is also an Integrated Energy Therapy™ Master-Instructor. Her broader training includes shamanic healing practices rooted in the Q’ero tradition of Peru, as well as yoga, in which she is a 500-hour certified yoga instructor.
Through her work, Krystal believes that we all have an innate capacity to support our own healing. Reiki offers a way to connect with universal life force energy and cultivate greater awareness and balance.
As a Reiki teacher, Krystal creates an experiential, supportive learning environment where students can learn the techniques and traditions of Reiki and also develop their own relationship with the energy and integrate the practice into daily life. Her goal is to help students build confidence in their practice while honoring Reiki as both a healing modality and a pathway for personal and spiritual development.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellations received at least 14 days before the training are eligible for a full refund of tuition, less any nonrefundable Eventbrite fees.
Cancellations received 7–13 days before the training are eligible for a 50% refund or full credit toward any future training with Krystal Healing Arts.
Cancellations received fewer than 7 days before the training are nonrefundable.
If Krystal Healing Arts cancels a training, participants will receive a full refund or may transfer their registration to another scheduled training.
