Desert Storm are a formidable force in British heavy metal. Hailing from Oxford, England, the band formed in 2007 and have since carved out a reputation for their genre-defying blend of stoner, sludge, post-metal, and doom. Now, 19 years deep into their journey, they remain impossible to pigeonhole—constantly evolving, yet unmistakably Desert Storm.

Their latest album, “Buried Under The Weight Of Reason”, is the highly anticipated follow-up to 2023’s acclaimed Death Rattle.

Recorded at Woodworm Studios in Oxfordshire and mixed/mastered by Joe Clayton of Pijn at Nø Studio, “Buried Under The Weight Of Reason” is both punishing and transcendent. The sound is massive—raw and unforgiving—yet layered with moments of elation and electrical ecstasy.
