Step aboard one of the most decorated battleships in U.S. history for a rare after-hours investigation of the USS New Jersey (BB-62).
Commissioned in 1943, the USS New Jersey served with distinction in World War II, the Korean War, Vietnam, and the Gulf War. Known as the most decorated battleship in U.S. Navy history, she saw intense combat across multiple decades, leaving behind not only a legacy of service—but countless stories tied to the men who lived and served aboard her.
Over the years, staff, visitors, and investigators have reported unexplained footsteps echoing through the narrow passageways, voices in otherwise empty compartments, and shadowy figures seen deep within the ship. Areas such as the engine rooms, crew quarters, and lower decks are often considered the most active, with reports of lingering energy tied to the ship’s long operational history.
Join Wyoming Valley Ghost Tours as we explore this historic vessel after dark in a structured, respectful investigation setting.
