Join us for a sketch meetup at the Woodruff Place Flea Market! Bring your sketchbook and art supplies as we spend the morning exploring and drawing one of Indianapolis’s most vibrant neighborhood events. From historic homes and porch scenes to vendors, treasures, and street life, there will be plenty to sketch and observe along Woodruff Place's tree-lined streets. All skill levels are welcome.
We’ll meet at the entrance of the first esplanade: 10th Street & Woodruff Place West Drive at 10:00 am before heading out to sketch independently throughout the market. Around 12:00 pm, we’ll reconvene at fountain at Woodruff Place West Drive & Woodruff Place Cross Drive for the throwdown to share our work with each other.
POST-MEETUP SOCIAL: Afterward, anyone interested is welcome to join us for a casual post-sketch social at Daisy Bar in Factory Arts South.
PARKING: Free parking is available just north of the neighborhood in the Teachers' Treasures lot (near 10th Street and Sterling Street). Street parking is available along 10th Street, Michigan Street, and other adjacent cross streets
Please bring your own materials, water, and anything else you may need for a few hours outdoors (like a blanket or chair for sitting). We hope to see you there!
