Using A.I. Tools in the Church
Friday, February 21, 9am-3:30pm

So maybe you’ve heard all the buzz about A.I. in the news over the last year. Perhaps you’re thinking, what is it, what impact does it have on the church, should be be using it, and is it the devil incarnate? If you’ve been asking any of those questions, are curious, convinced, or are dead set against it, we have the training for you.

Jason Moore, has been a long time proponent for the use of technology in the church. For decades he’s been leading trainings on the use of media, screens, visuals, hybrid and more. And now he’s helping the church embrace Artificial Intelligence in ministry.

In this day-long training, Jason will walk you through what A.I. is, why we should be using it in the church (with theological underpinnings to back it up), how to use it (and how not to use it), and even where the ethical lines are that we should not be crossing. During the day, Jason will expose you to the tools, help you know which are best for what scenarios, talk about copyright, ethics and do several real-time demos. We’ll also cover 10 distinct ways to use A.I. in ministry.

If you’d like a broad primer on A.I. to see how it could benefit your ministry, this is for you. And don’t worry, it’s not highly technical. You also won’t have to go broke with A.I. because many of the tools are free or inexpensive. Bring your computer and follow along, or just sit back, watch and observe.

BOTH/AND: To Be Continued
Saturday, February 22, 9am-3:30pm

When COVID arrived, many churches were forced online for the very first time. Others had to change up their strategy for how to reach people not physically gathered. We all collectively leaned in and extended our reach. It was tough, but exciting to see more possibilities to reach new people in new ways. But as people began returning to the building, we stopped thinking as much about our online audience. The numbers attending online dropped, but didn’t match the number of worshipers in the building.

Truly hybrid worship is worship where no one feels like an afterthought. We have to create a BOTH/AND experience if we want to grow both our physical and digital experiences. Now’s the time to double down and continue our hybrid ministry. BOTH/AND hybrid ministry must continue!

Join Jason Moore, Amazon bestselling author, coach and hybrid ministry specialist for a day-long training designed to help you tune up and add new strategies for how to create even more engagement in your both/and ministry. We’l cover 12 ways to increase participation, 5 areas to focus your attention to fully embrace hybrid; we’ll talk about what hybrid hospitality looks like and even more. Best of all, (if you’re already streaming) none of Jason will teach will require you to spend more money, add more staff, buy better equipment or change your worship style. This training is designed for churches of all sizes, style and means. We’ll even cover how to do hybrid well without internet in the building.

Finally, registering for this event gives you the opportunity to join a followup zoom call with Jason a few months later so you can trying some things and then have access to the trainer. Register today!

About Jason Moore

Creativity, storytelling and visual communication are evidenced passions of Jason Moore throughout his more than two decades of designing dynamic resources, training, coaching, and consulting for churches of all sizes, styles, and means.

A childhood dream of becoming a Hollywood filmmaker shifted as Jason experienced a call to bring his gifted artistry to the church, joining the Ginghamsburg United Methodist Church staff in the 1990s.

In 2020, as the global pandemic took root, Jason instinctively shifted his work, crafting a series of groundbreaking webinars on hybrid worship design. These trainings, which combine his specialties of church communications, guest readiness and creative worship, provide practical, results-oriented application, and are being utilized across the country in The United Methodist Church, seminaries, and ecumenical groups.

The rapid advancements in Artificial Intelligence that began filling news cycles in the fall of 2022, once again prompted Jason to dig deep and create cutting edge trainings on they why, how and what of A.I. in the church. He has been a featured speaker at multiple conferences on AI and the Church, including the groundbreaking AI Discovery Expo as well as the Church Innovation Summit and Church Communicator Conference (each time speaking about and demonstrating practical uses of generative AI). His forthcoming book on the topic will release in mid 2024.

In the secular world, Jason has collaborated with several Hollywood producers in film and television, and has produced numerous book trailers for New York Times best selling authors such as Ariana Huffington, Seth Godin, Robert Greene, Ryan Holiday and Mark Ecko.

Jason, a graduate of The Modern College of Design, is author of 12 books, a frequent keynote speaker, and a sought-after trainer.

His latest book BOTH/AND: Maximizing Hybrid Worship Experiences for In-Person and Online Engagement, a book on how to craft truly hybrid worship experience is an Amazon Best Seller.
