The MCRRCI have stepped in to run the USBK round 8 on the 27thSeptember after the original promoter pulled out.
Our club believe that it’s important that riders get the 2025 published number of championship rounds and to benefit from maximum points available, which can make a difference for the championship contenders.
Although not planned this year we will endeavour to do the best job possible and hope to see all USBK competitors forwarding entry forms asap, which are available from our website now – www.mcrrci.co.uk
The SBT Ireland Superbike class will have our MCRRC CLUB MEMBERS UNLIMITED PERPETUAL TROPHY up for grabs for the highest overall point scorer on the day.
This trophy has been recommissioned by the club in 2024 when Jonny Campbell won it, the trophy was originally presented in 1979 to Joey Dunlop and with others such as McClements, Farlow, Irwin, Hutchinson, Donnan, McAuley, McCurdy, M.Swann, J.Rea, Ruddock, Young, Archibald, a who’s who of the 80s, 90s and early 2000s era.
The club will put up a prize fund to accompany the trophy.
Our Man of the Meeting will win the MCRRCI Muckamore MCC Trophy, originally presented to the man of the meeting at the Race of the Year at Aghadowey. Previous winners include 1983 Mark Farmer, Joe Dunlop, Irwin, J.Rea x3, McCallen, McWilliams, Young, Owens, Morrell, Lunney, P Robinson, A McGregor, M Swann x2 and the last winner was A. Archibald in 2001, £100 will go along with the trophy.
The event will provide racing for Superbikes, Supersport, plus Cup, Moto 3, SS300, Lightweight SS, Pre Injection, Moto-One, Twins and Classic classes.
All the action will be taking place on the Bishopscourt Racing Circuit.
Practice will commence at 9am and the first race of the 16 scheduled races for approximately 11.30am.
Spectators can expect to enjoy an exciting, great days racing and all for just £15 admission!
Friday evening overnight camping is available, catering and facilities onsite.
