Need a laugh to end your week on a high note?
Each week, Secret Society Comedy hosts the nation's best touring, regional, and local comedians providing a unique comedy club experience in different spaces with different vibes. You never get the same show twice!
Waterloo Arts is the perfect venue to attend a "secret" comedy show where you can celebrate life's wins, have a unique date night, or just break up the typical weekend routine with laughs while surrounded by local art.
If you have ever wanted to say, "I saw them 'when,'" this is your 'when.'
Usama Siddiquee is a Bengali-American stand-up comedian and actor based in New York. He’s the kind of comic you want to follow right now, so you can totally gloat to your friends about how you were totally into him before he got huge. And then they’ll get really jealous of your impeccable foresight and superior taste.
His act is an energetic (bordering on frenetic) and intelligent (bordering on genius) romp through his own life experiences. Family! Friends! Sex! Religion! Sex with religious friends! It’s all there, and Usama slings jokes on these topics and more with rapid-fire charisma and hilarity.
He is on Netlifx’s "Inventing Anna," HBO’s "And Just Like That," Comedy Central’s "Nora from Queens," and FX’s "Better Things." He most recently was featured on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, Comedy Central's "Stand-Up Featuring," and the 2020 season of America’s Got Talent. He traveled to Montreal as one of the New Faces at Just For Laughs in 2018, and shortly after he was passed at the world famous Comedy Cellar in New York, he made his standup television debut on BET's 50 Central. Usama has also featured on videos for NBC, Buzzfeed, Refinery29, The Scene, Mic.com, FusionTV, and Huffington Post.

Waterloo Arts DOES have a liquor license, so you may puchase alcoholic beverages at the show. In fact, our pro tip is to order a second drink when you arrive so you don't have to miss anything to get another round. Though there is no 2-drink minimum, all beverage sales support their mission to promote local artists.
They do not serve food, but we DO recommend heading over to Six Shooter Coffee for a coffee before the show and Doinks' Burger Joint (who will take 15% off your order if you show your show ticket) to grab a bite to eat before the show. You MAY bring food into the venue, but PLEASE clean up after yourself.
Your purchase can be refunded up to 24 hours before the listed show time. Discounted tickets are NOT eligible for refund.
This show is rated R - 18+ please.
