USA250 Spark & Feast - Fireworks Celebration & Potluck

You’re Invited: The Ultimate USA250 Spark & Feast! 🍔 America is turning 250, it's the Semiquincentennial anniversary of America! Join us for an unforgettable night of community, incredible food, and explosive fireworks. Please bring your favorite dish, appetizer, or dessert to share. Stick around until dark for a front-row seat to the best fireworks in town since Santa Clara County isn't exactly the best place to celebrate Independence Day. Use of fireworks is prohibited! However, Mountain View will once again have a beautiful fireworks display near Shoreline Amphitheater. The last few years we have had a great turnout with over 400 people. Celebrate Independence Day in grand style by watching the fireworks and dancing the night away to the top dance hits of today and yesterday. Don't miss this one. Last year we ran out of tickets!

This event is not at Shoreline Golf Links, nor is it at Michael's Restaurant. The Shoreline Golf Links address is listed only to help you find the best place to park. After parking you will need to walk about 200 yards back from the direction that you drove it from. Arrive before 7 pm to ensure you get parking. Drive past ranger's station booth. If asked where you are going (this is very unlikely), tell the ranger that you are going to Shoreline Lake Boathouse. Drive all the way back about a half mile and veer to the left when you see the signage for Michael's. There will be free parking in front of Michael's and in front of the Shoreline Links Golf Shop. Other options include parking near Costco (1000 N Rengstorff Ave, Mountain View, CA 94043) and walking about a mile. Or you can pay $30 or $40 and park in Lot E, which is where the concert goers will be parking. Please attempt to rideshare.

FORMAT

This event will be in a potluck format. Beer and wine are permitted to be consumed on the golf course as long as you are at least 50 feet from the road and are eating food. We will be in the same spot as last year near Michael's Restaurant.

WHAT TO BRING

Bring whatever food and/or drinks that you would like to share with the group. Please note that freeloaders are removed from the group. If you show up with nothing and then have food and/or drinks brought by someone else, you will be removed from the group.

Consider bringing a jacket or coat and a blanket, towel, or folding chair, to sit on. It might be wise to bring some mosquito repellent.

ATTENDANCE

You can bring adult guests. Sorry, no kids since there will be consumption of alcohol. No dogs permitted as this site is a bird sanctuary.

WHO IS ATTENDING
