UROC Critical Conversation Fall 2026
About this Event
Join UROC for our Fall Critical Conversation centered on the community engaged Partners4Pain project. The project brought community members and leaders together with researchers to develop accessible programs for people with pain. Team members will discuss how they worked together, the highlights of what came out of it, the transformation that occurred among team members, and why this matters for community. The event is free and open to the public, but registration is requested. Food will be provided. More details to come.
UROC Critical Conversation is a series of public discussions that bring together scholars, activists, historians, artists, and community leaders who address urban issues and ideas. Building on UROC's many University-community collaborations, the series is intended as a "gathering place" for urban-focused research, dialogue, and cultural events.
Located in North Minneapolis, the Robert J. Jones Urban Research and Outreach-Engagement Center (UROC) links the University of Minnesota in vital public partnership with urban communities to advance learning, improve quality of life, and discover breakthrough solutions to critical problems.
