Join percussion soloist Urie Kline and jazz trio Flack, Hickey, & Saracoglu for September's installment of the Listening Room! A collaboration between the Community Zone and the Local Music Collective, the Listening Room is an opportunity for musicians and appreciative audiences alike to enjoy an intimate performance free from other distractions.
An active live and session "musician for hire," Urie is an experienced percussionist excited to launch his new venture as a soloist. Utilizing songs, rhythms, and instruments from around the world, his performance is sure to be unique and full of surprises.
Flack, Hickey, & Saracoglu combines the experienced and in-demand bass skills of Bill Flack, the eclectic songwriting and guitar stylings of Michael Hickey, and the rhythmic diversity of Turkish-born percussionist Safa Saracoglu.
All in all, not a night to be missed! $10 admission; children 12 and under enter for free.
