⭐️For the First time Urbanize is adding an additional globally loved dance style to the line up…..It's Bachata!
It’s no doubt that Bachata and Urban Kiz go together with many festivals across the world combining them .
So let’s share the Urbanize love with our Bachatero friends and diversify our dancing together by dancing both of these much loved styles
WHAT TO EXPECT:
✅1H Sensual Bachata Class 4 All (open level)
✅1H Urban Kiz Class -2 levels Beginners and Intermediate
✅Dance till you drop with 5 hours of social dancing
✅NO partner required, come and socialise and meet new people
✅Bring Your own Drinks - A Cheap Night
⭐️We will have an open level sensual Bachata class with our guest international artists .
Followed by a beginners Urban kiz class for those who have not tried it before or perhaps you have just recently started your Kiz journey.
And for our more established Urbanizers we have an intermediate+ Urban Kiz class for you by our special guest teachers from London
What is Bachata:
Bachata is a style of dance that originated in the Dominican Republic. The basics to the dance are three-step followed by a tap. There is a newer fusion style - Bachata moderna and Bachata Sensual a mix between dance and theatre with strict follow and lead principles. The dance is an interpretation of the music with mostly circular movements and body waves
What is UrbanKiz:
UrbanKiz is a partner dance style that has emerged in France in the early 2010s, taking inspiration from kizomba and elements of urban dance genres. It is danced to a variety of music taking influences of kizomba, ghetto zouk, R&B, Hip Hop, Afrobeats, and remixes; allowing dancers to freely interpret the music.

7.30-8.30pm Sensual Connection 4 All Class with Sol & Laura
Developing your Social Bachata dancing Technique , Leading, Following and Connection. Progressive class so that all will advance no matter your current level.
8.45- 9.45pm . Get Your Kiz Right!
Urban Kiz Class - 2 levels
Beginners Fundamentals with Christina Mckiztosh
Intermediates with Jay jay & Natalia- Developing technique,musicality and styling in your social dance.
10pm -2.45am
Urban Kiz and Bachata mixed party with Dj Amine.
LAST ENTRY for Party 1.30am
🎵 Music Policy:
The right mix of Bachata sensual, Bachata moderna, Urban Kiz , Tarraxo, Ghetto zouk, Tarraxinha, Kizomba, Afro beats and Douceur.
After 1am, music selection will be Urban Kiz umbrella biased.
