From there, we slip quietly into nature, following a single footpath with sweeping views down to the confluence of Hangman Creek and the Spokane River—a place rich with Indigenous history and layered meaning.
The journey continues through Peaceful Valley, one of the last remaining intact working-class neighborhoods in the Northwest, where every street corner tells a different story.
