A young single mother, and her six-year-old daughter live in a budget motel in Kissimmee, under the disfigured economic shadow of Walt Disney World. This ‘slice of life’ film explores the pluralities of childhood poverty through the nuanced perspective of the defiantly precocious Moonee, in the midst of the only life she’s ever known.
