What is UPR? An 8-hour photography race through Amsterdam. Throughout the day you receive 4 themes at checkpoints across the city. For each theme you build a series of 3 images: not three photos that match the theme, but three that build one idea together.
4 themes, 4 series, 12 images.
- Themes and checkpoints are revealed only on race day
- Jury evaluation (Bas Losekoot, Dougue Wallace, Giedo van der Zwan)
- Over €1,000 in prizes
- Connect with fellow photographers
Who can participate? Anyone with a passion for street photography and urban storytelling. All camera types welcome, from smartphones to professional camera gear.

- Start: 11:00h at Westerpark (registration 10:00-11:00h)
- Finish: 19:00h at Checkpoint 4
- Submission deadline: Sunday 13 September, 13:00h
Format: 4 checkpoints, 4 themes, 12 photos total (3 per theme)
