Join award-winning WA artist and PADU Feature Artist Andy Dolphin for a hands-on Urban Pen & Wash One Day Workshop at the 2026 Plein Air Down Under Outdoor Painting Festival. Michael Harding Watercolour Paints will be supplied for this workshop.
An Urban Pen & Wash sketch can stand alone as an artwork, be used in a visual travel journal, or serve as a plein air colour study for a larger painting. In this workshop, Andy will guide you through analysing a scene, simplifying shapes, and tackling the much-dreaded challenge of perspective.
Weather permitting, the day includes both indoor and outdoor exercises in pen and watercolour. Suitable for beginners and for more experienced sketchers wanting to sharpen their fundamentals or add colour to their work.

Mandurah Performing Arts Centre (Dance Studio), 9 Ormsby Terrace, Mandurah.
COST:
Tuesday 29 September - 9am to 4pm.
