Raising your own chickens doesn’t require a lot of space, just the right information. Learn from UAF Cooperative Extension Services Livestock Nutritionist, Jim Vinyard, about how to get a healthy coop started. Through interactive presentation, learn about the basics, plus how to differentiate feeds, and how to sprout grains. Discuss heating sources and Alaska wintertime in this informational course. $5 materials fee, registration required. This class is a collaboration between UAF Cooperative Extension Service and Seed Lab.
