Description: Drumming legend Bernard Purdie (bernardpurdiedrums.com), the most recorded drummer in music history on over 4,000 hit records and creator of the world famous “Purdie Shuffle”, shares the glory days of R&B, rock n roll, and authentic jazz in his amazing Purdie Shuffle Workshop. Bernard has worked with a wide variety of top recording artists from Bob Marley, James Brown to Steely Dan and was Aretha Franklin's band director for 13 years. He famous iconic Purdie Shuffle beat he used with Steely Dan on their AJA record and on Toto's Rosanna song. He is a great drummer, very charismatic, and a real crowd pleaser not to be missed! This workshop is appropriate for all levels of drummers from beginning to advanced and non drummers too.
