It is our pleasure to invite you to the University of Queensland Law Society’s annual Valedictory Dinner to celebrate and honour the graduating class of 2025 and reflect on their time at The UQ Law School.This year’s Valedictory Dinner will be hosted in The Long Room at Customs House. The evening will feature a three-course dinner with beverages, a keynote address from The Honourable Peter Applegarth AM and the presentation of the Sarah Derrington Perpetual Trophy for Leadership, recognising outstanding service and contribution within the law school. Guests will also enjoy live entertainment to be provided by SJC’s Heaven on Earth Band.

Dress Code: Black-Tie

Please note that each ticket purchase is limited to two (2) per transaction, and each ticketholder must hold a current (2025) UQLS L Card. L Cards may be purchased here: https://campus.hellorubric.com/?s=57&tab=memberships
Ticket sales will close at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, 30 September 2025, or earlier if allocation is exhausted. Guests will also have the opportunity to nominate table preferences at a later date, with further details to follow.
