Good evening honoured guests,After a long wait, the lanterns are finally rising and at last we see the light.
The University of Queensland Law Society invites you to an enchanting evening in the Kingdom of Corona for UQLS Law Ball 2026: At Last I See The Light. Inspired by the beloved tale of Tangled, this year’s Law Ball promises a magical night of celebration beneath glowing lanterns.
For one unforgettable evening, guests are welcomed to the kingdom by your royal hosts as the most anticipated social event of the year unfolds. Join fellow students for a night of elegance, music, and celebration as the lanterns rise and the festivities begin.

🏰Location: Royal International Convention Centre, 600 Gregory Terrace, Bowen Hills QLD 4006
👑Dress Code: Black Tie — dressing to the theme is completely optional (pastels, whimsical, and fairytale-inspired touches encouraged)

As usual, the venue reserves the right to refuse entry or remove patrons who are unduly intoxicated. Please take it easy prior to arriving.
Please note this is a strictly 18+ event. The venue reserves the right to refuse entry to patrons who cannot present valid proof of identity at the door. Please bring official identification such as a driver’s licence, passport, or proof of age card. No UQ student IDs or other unofficial forms of identification will be accepted, even if you have purchased a ticket.

Access to the afterparty will be included with your ticket. Further details will be posted in the event page on the day before the ball.
[TICKET INFORMATION]
There will be three releases of tickets, with prices incrementally increasing with each round. The prices and dates of releases will be announced shortly.
