There’ll also be a charity raffle on the night, with all proceeds going to a chosen local charity.
Whether you’re a lifelong Frank and Walters fan, a proud supporter of Uproar Choir, or simply someone who loves live music with a big heart behind it — this is a night not to be missed. 🎶
The Frank and Walters Paul Linehan is one of Ireland’s most talented and
inspirational singer / songwriters.
For nearly 30 years Paul has penned and performed hundreds of songs with
The Frank and Walters which have captured the hearts and minds of
generations.
The band originally became world famous on the ‘90s indie scene and have
produced seven studio albums. Paul has lost none of his talent or motivation
to produce fantastically crafted and catchy indie songs and continues to write
new material to this day.
Recently the band captured a whole new audience when their ‘90’s hit single
‘After All’ featured on the cult comedy show ‘The Young Offenders’ (the
infamous ‘Billy Murphy’ bus hijack scene). And as well as being able to recall
stories of Radiohead and Suede supporting the Frank and Walters on early
tours, their recent single featured Peaky Blinders Cillian Murphy doing a
voiceover on the track ‘Stages’.
The band are taking to the road to share the hits and their favourite long lost
classics in all their acoustic glory. The lyrical and musical genius of Linehan’s
song writing is laid bare in this intimate format and the true magic of the
songs, coupled with Paul’s engaging personality shines through.
Uproar Choir is a lively and passionate vocal group based in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary. Since forming in 2017, they’ve quickly become a standout presence in the music scene, winning over audiences with their vibrant performances and distinctive sound.
The choir has taken part in a wide range of music festivals and competitions both in Ireland and abroad, earning well-deserved praise for their versatility and impressive musicality. Whether performing contemporary pieces, choral favourites, or original collaborations, Uproar Choir brings energy, emotion, and originality to every stage.
They’ve had the pleasure of working with talented Irish songwriters such as Royseven frontman Paul Walsh, Jack O’Rourke, Paddy Casey and Galway Trio The Whileaways, adding their own dynamic touch to these artists’ work. These collaborations have led to powerful, heartfelt performances that truly connect with listeners.
Beyond the music, Uproar Choir is proud to support their community. They regularly take part in charity events, using their voices to help make a positive difference wherever they can.
