UPPER ERNE MASTERS 2026 Upper Erne Fishing Competition
Date: 5th September 2026
Location: Derryadd Upper Erne, Northern Ireland
Entry Fee: £60 per team
Competition Time: 9:00 – 17:00
We would like to invite all anglers and predator fishing enthusiasts to join the Upper Erne Masters 2026 competition.
Prepare for a full day of competition, big fish, and great atmosphere on one of the best predator fisheries in Northern Ireland.
Competition Rules:
• Maximum of 2 anglers per boat/team
• Lifejackets must be worn at all times
• Teams must maintain a minimum distance of 40 metres from other competitors
• Teams may count their 5 biggest pike
• Teams may count their 3 biggest perch
• Every 1 cm = 1 point
• The team with the highest total points wins
• LiveScope and other live sonar systems are permitted
• Deadbait fishing is permitted
• Trolling is permitted
• All fish must be handled safely and returned to the water alive
• Fish photos and video must clearly show the fish on the measuring board
• A video of releasing the fish back into the water must be sent to the phone number provided
• Sportsmanship and fair play are expected at all times
• Any rule violations may result in disqualification
•Official Measuring Board
Each participant will be provided with an official tournament measuring board upon payment of a £30 refundable deposit.(week or 2 weeks before tournament deposit must be paid )
* The deposit will be fully refunded once the measuring board is returned at the end of the tournament.
* If the measuring board is not returned, the deposit will be retained by the organizer.

•All participants must have a valid fishing licence and a DAERA permit. If anyone is unsure how to get them, please contact us and we will be happy to help.
• Registration and launch from 08:00. All teams must be ready for the briefing before the start of the competition.
• All boats must return to the designated finish area by 17:00.
• All participants must comply with local fishing regulations and Waterways Ireland.
• Photos must clearly show the entire fish, measurement, and team number.
• Alcohol or drug impairment during the competition is strictly prohibited.
• The organisers reserve the right to cancel, postpone, or modify the event in the case of severe weather or circumstances beyond their control.
• By entering the competition, participants agree that photos and videos taken during the event may be used by the organisers for promotional purposes.
• All decisions made by the organisers are final
Entry Fee:
£60 per team
Prize Structure (Based on 20 Boats)
The following prize structure is based on a full entry of 20 boats at £60 per boat, creating a total fund of £1,200.
£250 will be retained for event administration and organisation costs, leaving a total prize fund of £950.
Prizes:
🥇 1st Place Team – £400+ Trophy
🥈 2nd Place Team – £250 + Trophy
🥉 3rd Place Team – £150 + Trophy
🏆 Biggest Pike – £75 + Trophy
🐟 Biggest Perch – £75 + Trophy
If fewer than 20 boats enter, the prize fund will be adjusted accordingly.
All fish must be measured and recorded in accordance with tournament rules to qualify for prizes with team number included to the picture and video .
Trophies will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place, as well as for the Biggest Pike and Biggest Perch.
