Upcycled Craft Workshop - Mixed Media Paper Collage -FCRW Earth Month 2026!

Round 2 - Come get crafty with the River Friends during Earth Month 2026!

Join our resident crafty Executive Director, Cait McConnell, for an evening of community building, learning a new crafty skill, and helping reuse some "waste" materials that would end up in the landfill, or worse the Chemung River.

During our second workshop participants will let their creativity flow by creating a mixed media paper collage. Let loose and get your hands a little messy, using materials such as paper, magazines, cardboard, bubble wrap, beads, paint, yarn, ribbon, and so on! The sky is the limit! We are encouraging you to rummage through your crafty supplies and bring anything you've been holding onto and don't know what to do with!

Registration is FREE but REQUIRED for this workshop so we know how many stations to set up with enough materials. As always donations are greatly appreciated.

Light snacks and drinks will be available in addition to all the materials needed for this craft. Come get crafty with the River Friends during Earth Month!
