👋 About the Event
Step into the world of innovation and inspiration at Test My Idea, our idea-testing fair hosted by TERN, with support from Ben & Jerry’s. Talented entrepreneurs from refugee backgrounds will unveil their business ideas for the very first time. This event is a celebration of creativity, collaboration and practical support, where ideas are tested, nurtured and strengthened. You’ll have the chance to speak directly with emerging founders, ask thoughtful questions and provide valuable feedback that can help shape the future of their businesses.
🤩 What to expect
Get ready to meet 5 to 7 entrepreneurs from refugee backgrounds, each excited to share their vision with you.
You’ll spend around 7 to 10 minutes at each entrepreneur’s table, learning about their business idea, asking questions and sharing your feedback.
Each entrepreneur will have a unique QR code, which we’d love for you to scan so you can complete a short feedback form.
On the day
✅ Arrive anytime between 5:00pm and 6:30pm for drinks, nibbles and an introduction to the evening
✅ Spend 7 to 10 minutes at each entrepreneur’s table
✅ Learn more about each business idea and ask plenty of questions
✅ Complete a feedback form for each entrepreneur you speak with
