UoP American Football Recruitment Day

The University of Portsmouth AmericanFootball team have cemented their place in the BUCS Premier South division for the second year, and are recruiting players for future seasons. Whether you are an experienced player who is thinking about your next step in education, or if you just fancy trying a new sport alongside a degree, our recruitment day is an opportunity to find out more about the University programme, meet our players and coaches, and have a practical session to show off your skills.

We are looking for athletes for the 2024/25 and 2025/26 season, so if you've been wondering if you can play American Football alongside studying a degree at an excellent sporting University, the answer is yes! You will hear from the Senior Sports Performance Officer about sport at UoP, the Head Coach regarding the American Football programme and what a typical week / season looks like, and get the opportunity to quiz our current players regarding their experience as a student athlete.

You will need to bring practical kit, including boots with studs / cleats, and refreshments. Please advise the Head Coach on any medical conditions / injuries on arrival.
