UofL’s Sustainability Council invites you to UofL Day at the Gray Street Farmers’ Market on August 28th. All UofL students, faculty, and staff who bring their valid UofL ID to the GSFM Information Booth can pick up complementary $5 tokens to redeem at any market vendors. All are encouraged to show your UofL spirit by wearing red or your favorite Cards gear.
To kick off the Cards Commuter Challenge 2025, the Sustainability Council is organizing a free bus trip to the market from Belknap Campus. Meet up at the SAC Starbucks at 11am. From there, we’ll hop on TARC Route 28 for an easy, 15-minute ride to the market. Log your trip on Cardinal Directions (https://directions.louisville.edu) and you'll be entered to win our $250 Grand Prize!
All current UofL students and employees can ride the entire TARC bus system for free using the Token Transit app. To access your free TARC rides with the Token Transit app:
• Download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play. You will receive an email from [email protected], with the subject line “Redeem Your Transit Pass for TARC.”
• From your mobile device, tap the Token Transit app icon in the email.
• Tap "Redeem" in the Token Transit app to finish adding the pass to your app. This will store your pass under “Stored Passes.”
• In the “My Passes” section of the Token Transit app, you will see your inactive pass under “Stored Passes.” To activate the pass, tap “Tap to use this pass.” Your active pass is now ready to use! Simply scan the pass from your phone over the card reader when you board any TARC bus on any route, anytime.
