EVENT DETAILS

We usually meet people by chatting—glancing over at the bar, cracking a few jokes, asking the same five questions. But what if we could meet through stories instead? Picture this: solf lights, music filling the space, a group of people writing together, discovering each other through the characters and worlds they create.

This is not a writing workshop. It is not about productivity or skill. It is about doing something for the simple joy of doing it. Just us, some pencils, paper, silly games, and laughter to open the gate to creativity.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Kënza, the hostess of the evening will choose the writing games, and we will write for 5–10 minutes based on it. There will be several rounds, and we will even warm up with fun writing games. In between each exercise, anyone who wants to share their writing can do so with the microphone, reading it aloud for everyone to listen.

Everyone brings something to write with and something to write on (journal, paper—no screen).

You have to purchase one drink purchase at the bar to participate.

It is a crowd funded event so you are welcome to tips us at the end of the event, we would advice a contribution of 5/7€.

WHO ARE WE?

The Third Place is a social and language club that meets every week for fun activities while practicing languages and making new friends. Everyone is welcome- we cannot wait to meet you!

Born in Rome within the Together Network @togethernetwork in Roma, Story Slam is now arriving in Paris. The vision has always remained the same: to create a moment where stories bring people together.

This Parisian edition is hosted by Kënza @onsidequests and organized by @thethirdplace.club (social club) in collaboration with @kibeleparis.
