Missed out last time? UNSW SurgSoc is running our third and last suturing workshop for the year! This session will be split into BASIC, INTERMEDIATE and ADVANCED workshops, so come on down for a fun time learning suturing techniques. Perfect for EVERYONE whether you're a confused first year student that hasn't seen a suture needle before, or if you're a surg gunner looking to ace your rotations🔪🦴

📍 Location: Wallace Wurth Physiology Labs
Basic Workshop will cover:
🔹 Sutures & surgical instruments
🔹 Simple Interrupted, Simple Continuous
🔹 Practice hand-ties
The Intermediate Workshop will cover:
🔹 Horizontal Mattress
🔹 Vertical Mattress
🔹 Further hand-ties
Advanced Workshop will cover:
🔹 Subcuticular sutures
🔹 Deep dermal sutures
Suturing will be performed on pork trotters 🐷 (alternatives available upon request for cultural/religious reasons).
