Unsupervised Wallflowers Union
About this Event
Unsupervised Wallflowers Union — UWU
We love books. We love our people. We're just not built for being out, about, and performing for a room full of strangers.
So we made a club for that.
You know how it goes: quiet and careful around the wrong crowd, fully yourself around the right one. UWU is the right one! A cozy, open-invite hangout for quirky homebodies where you don't have to put on a front, manage, or be "on." Just snacks, laughs, and the kind of room where you can finally exhale and be your full self.
We meet the 3rd Wednesday of every month, and the activity rotates: board games, retro movie nights, D&D, candle-making, crochet-and-a-flick, around-the-world snack tour, the occasional dance party — whatever the group suggests that sounds fun and low-stakes. Some nights are free; some have a small optional ticket to chip in for shared supplies. Either way, you're always welcome exactly as you are.
✨ THIS MONTH ✨
Show and Tell • 7/15 • 7pm – 9pm
July's hangout, bring something you want to do for the evening, either a solo activity or one to share. Everyone gets a minute to share about their activity and they we all just hang out and enjoy the company. Ex: someone's bringing crochet supplies, another is bringing a book, and another their Switch and extra controllers. Summer is too hot to plan anything high-stakes, so feel free to just come for the vibes.
Ticket: Free!
Bring: a snack to share + an activity
