UNSUNG is a new program series launched by the Sing Sing Prison Museum, in partnership with our remarkable community partners Life Stories, Musicambia, and the Ossining Public Library. This series is a multimedia community conversation on stories from the prison system. The events explore ideas of damage, expansion and transcendence from a multiplicity of points of view - including YOURS! We like to describe this evening as what emerges if you mix a book club with going to the movies or a concert, followed up by lively conversation. July 10 | UNSUNG: Voice
Featuring an interview with Reginald D. Betts (voice) plus a dynamic moderated panel and live music by Kenyatta Emmanuel.
September 11 | UNSUNG: Forgiveness
Featuring an interview with Marcus Mendez (forgiveness) plus a dynamic moderated panel and live music by Alfred Roberts.
October 9 | UNSUNG: Love
Featuring an interview with Lawrence and Ronnie Bartley (love), plus a dynamic moderated panel and music by Kenyatta Emmanuel.
November 13 | UNSUNG: Alone
Featuring an interview with Noelle Richardson (alone), plus a dynamic moderated panel and music by Alfred Roberts.
