Unseasoned Chicken Breast – A Work-In-Progress Hour by Charlie Stevens
Charlie Stevens grew up in what he calls a family of unseasoned chicken breasts: plain, British, and quietly holding it together. Over the years, that family unit has drifted apart, been tested by loss, and slowly found its way back together again.
Unseasoned Chicken Breast is a brand-new stand-up hour that blends storytelling and stand-up, mixing reflections on family dynamics, grief, and questionable life choices with plenty of jokes along the way. At its heart, it’s about what happens when the people closest to you start to drift - and how, sometimes, life’s hardest moments can bring everyone back together.
This is a work-in-progress show - your chance to see a full hour take shape ahead of a 2027 mini-tour. Come laugh, maybe cry (not mandatory), and help shape the final version of a deeply personal and painfully funny story.
The night also features opening acts from the Belgian comedy scene, so you’ll get a full evening of stand-up.
