Healthcare providers, mental health professionals, and community advocates working to improve maternal and family health outcomes are invited to join us for this powerful, multidisciplinary conference focused on Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMAD) and Substance Use Disorders (SUD). Drs. Sonia Motin, MD & Wendy Forrest, DO will open the conference with a compelling keynote on the bi-directional relationship between PMAD and SUD. The plenary session, “Speaking with Clients who are Dual Diagnosed,” will be presented by Nancy Renn-Bugai, Certified Nurse Midwife and Nurse Practitioner, alongside Steven Johnson, Peer Support Navigator and Community Health Worker, offering practical communication tools and real-world perspectives.
The day will conclude with Dr. Maria Muzik, MD, who will deliver a thoughtful summary of the day and an inspiring call to action to advance this critical work.
Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits, along with CEUs for Social Workers and Community Health Workers, will be offered as part of registration (pending approval).
