About the Event
The Unmasking Mental Health Annual Gala is more than an evening out. It is a movement to bring mental health into the open.
This year’s theme, From Speakeasy to Speak Freely, reflects a time when conversations happened behind closed doors. Today, mental health can still feel that way, hidden, quiet, and difficult to talk about.
This night is about changing that.
Through immersive experiences, meaningful conversations, and a touch of vintage glam, we create a space where stories are shared, stigma is challenged, and connection takes center stage.
The Experience
Step into a transformed space inspired by the Prohibition era, where secrecy gives way to openness and connection.
Your evening will include live music and dancing, a unique password entry experience, conversation prompts designed to spark meaningful dialogue, an interactive Unspoken Wall, and a powerful moment of storytelling that brings the mission to life.
This is not just a gala. It is an experience you will carry with you.
Why It Matters
The need for mental health support is growing, and access to care is not always immediate or available.
Make Mental Health Matter focuses on filling that gap.
We do not provide crisis services. We educate, equip, and empower people to support mental health in their everyday lives, and we are expanding access to low-cost, holistic support for those who need it most.
Through our core areas of Action, Conversation, and Education, we provide training in mental health, substance use, and suicide prevention, create space for real conversations, support youth through mentorship and community, and expand access to affordable support for adults.
We do not replace professional care. We help make support possible.
Where Your Support Goes
Funds raised through the gala support the cost of the event and directly fund our programs beyond that.
Your support helps us continue and expand mental health education and prevention training, including programs such as ASIST, youth mentorship and community through Give Youth a Voice, and low-cost coaching and holistic support through LoveLife Live.
At a time when demand is rising and access to care is limited, your support helps bridge the gap.
