Cookies & Crime: The Greenbrier Ghost
About this Event
We’ll decorate themed cookies while diving into the only known M**der trial in U.S. history where the testimony of a ghost helped secure a conviction.
What happens when two spooky, true crime-loving, culinary-obsessed women work back-to-back in a kitchen store for four years while customers ask, “When are you going to start offering classes?” Apparently, you end up with a harebrained idea to combine the things you love and hope other people love them too.
Rachael — an award-winning cookie decorator who has taught classes locally and at CookieCon — regularly looks at completely normal objects and asks, “ how I can make that a cookie?”
Amy brings absolutely no credentials to the table beyond a love of research, a fascination with all things sinister, and a near-total inability to shut up once she starts telling a story.
Together, they’re here to guide you through an afternoon of frosting, felonies, and bad decisions.
No decorating experience required. Just come hang out, snack, decorate cookies, and discuss suspicious behavior.
Each ticket includes:
- 6 cookies
- decorating supplies
- hosted true crime storytelling experience
- N/A bevs and a light snack
