Each year, Denmark produces over 500,000 tons of rapeseed cake, a nutrient-rich byproduct of oil production. Traditionally used in livestock feed, this co-product is now recognised as a high-value resource for the food industry and beyond.
On 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟯𝗿𝗱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, Food & Bio Cluster Denmark, as part of the BrilianProject, is hosting an industry workshop to bring together businesses, investors, researchers, and authorities across various sectors to explore the potential of rapessed cake and showcase how the Danish BRILIAN Pilot is advancing to transform it into high-value plant-based proteins for food and bio-based additives for industrial applications.
