Cost: $900 per person total + eventbrite's booking fee (=$100 per hour of face-to-face support with two registered therapists). Medicare rebates of $44.10 per week apply with a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP), separate to the one-on-one sessions under Medicare.

Dates: The Full Program constitutes the first three sundays of each month from 1PM to 4PM.

FAQs

Payments? Payment in full is required at the time of booking.

Do I need a referral? Not unless you want a rebate

Medicare rebates? In order to qualify for a Medicare rebate, you need to have a MHTP and a referral letter from your GP. The MHTP allows you to access up to 10 group sessions in addition to 1:1 sessions. You are welcome to attend the group without a MHTP/referral letter. This will be billed privately and will not qualify for a rebate.

Do group sessions count towards sessions on my MHTP? No.

The 10 group sessions are in addition to individual sessions with a psychologist or mental health social worker. You still get up to 10 individual sessions with your therapist under a mental health care plan.

Can I bring my partner or a support person? Your partner/support person is welcome to wait in the reception area, but is unable to attend the group sessions with you.

What if I cannot attend/need to cancel?

Standard cancellation policy - 48 hours notice. If you cancel outside of the 48 hours, you will receive a refund for that week's group. If cancelled within 48 hours, the fee is non-refundable.

Caveat: group will only run if we have 7 participants registered.
