When the conference wraps for the day, join us for an evening that digs into one of the harder questions in Nordic tech: Can this region build a real market for private company equity? From closed networks to trusted, liquid and democratised access.

Private company equity is becoming an increasingly important part of the Nordic growth economy, but the market around it remains fragmented, relationship-driven and difficult to access. Founders, employees, angels, VCs and early investors often hold valuable equity, yet ownership records, investor information, transfer processes and secondary liquidity are still handled through relatively manual and closed structures.

At the same time, investor expectations are changing. Professional investors, secondary buyers, fintech platforms and a broader generation of investors are asking whether private markets can become more transparent, more investable and eventually more accessible. However, broader access also raises important questions around trust, governance, investor protection, information quality, suitability and liquidity expectations.

The event will open with a short, sharp intro to fintech, a fast way in if you're at TechBBQ and curious what this corner of the industry is actually about, before handing things over to the panel.

After that, the evening is yours: networking, drinks, and unexpected conversations with founders, investors, and builders from across the Nordics.
